Summer is here, and with it comes a whirlwind of activities, plans, and dreams. For those who don’t know me, I’m deeply passionate about photography—it’s my heart business, a way to give back, and a source of personal healing. Alongside my photography, I also run a successful cleaning business that I’ve had for 20 years now. I started it when my youngest was just a baby, and now she’s turning 21 this year—time truly flies!
As summer swings into full gear, I find my schedule filling up quickly with both cleaning clients and exciting passion projects. I’m incredibly grateful and beyond excited for what’s in store this summer and the wonderful things to come.
Busy Days Ahead
With a packed schedule, it’s essential for me to stay organized and balance work with self-care. I’ve been making self-care a priority this summer and aim to share more of my journey with you on social media—look out for my reels and posts! Sometimes I might forget, thanks to that pesky object permanence thing, but I’ll do my best to keep you updated.
Emotive Boudoir Photography: My Niche
I specialize in emotive boudoir photography, a niche that allows me to capture deep, intimate moments that reflect the true essence of my clients. However, due to social media shadow bans and the need to stay visible and relevant, you’ll find a variety of content on my pages. I stay true to my artistic nature and resist the pressure to conform to trends, choosing instead to shoot what inspires me and what I love. This means you’ll see a mix of work that goes beyond boudoir—because for me, photography is about creating art in all its forms.
Getting in Shape
Part of my self-care routine involves physical therapy to get in better shape this year, and let me tell you, it’s making a difference. I’ve even added more cardio to my routine, even though it’s not my favorite. So, if you see me out on my bike, be sure to smile and wave—I’ll appreciate the encouragement as I endure the discomfort of that bike seat!
